Forage Services – Whole Crop Harvesting

We use a direct disc header for wholecrop that enables a wide range of crops to be harvested quickly and efficiently leaving a clean stubble. Years of experience harvesting different crops have allowed us to build up knowledge of when to cut a crop for best nutritional value whilst still remaining stable in the clamp. Over the years we have cut winter and spring barley, winter and spring wheat tritcale and bi crops containing peas, lupins and undersown grass. It is in these bi crops especially those grown organically that the benefits of the disc header really show.
