Forage Services – Drilling
Two Amazone 6m eight row precision maize drills ensure we have plenty of capacity even through the April showers. The Amazone drill has a very low drop height from the disc ensuring accurate seed placement.
Trial work we helped conduct during 2014 showed a yield benefit of over 10% from the precision drill above a normal grain drill and an increase in dry matter at harvest.
Both drills are capable of applying convetional fertiliser and micro granular fertiliser.
We enjoy working with our customers to ensure the best seedbed is made, this has a massive effect on the potential yield of the crop. Using tined cultivators or a power harrow we can provide this service when required.
